Everyone tells you what steps you need to take to accomplish a task, but no one tells that each task is really 57 smaller tasks. Or how to schedule everything out.
Some advice online tells you to start promoting your book a whole year before you publish. Others state two months. I split the difference and started with six. And I still don't know if that was too early or not early enough.
Advice speaks to create a Kickstarter and/or a Patreon to help fund your creative endeavor and get the hype up for your book, but you need the hype first to get subscribers for both. It's a chicken and the egg situation.
Anyway, all that to say that, after an analysis of where I'm at, the Kickstarter and Patreon have been pushed off until I generate more of a following. And the art posting schedule has been altered to a more reasonable pace for my artist.
This is a learning curve!
